The Learning Farm is delighted to be invited by Petro Tekno in Bintuni, West Papua to develop their farming program in 24 villages under P2TIM (Pusat Pelatihan Tehnik Industri dan Migas). During the four day visit, the four TLF staff conducted a series of assessments such as field observation, soil and water sampling, and community focus group discussion with some community members as well as Petro Tekno’s advisor team to learn more about the local culture and customs related to farming habits. The assessment results will help TLF to re-design Petro Tekno’s agriculture intervention program.
