The Presidential Palace of Cipanas and Kebun Raya Cibodas were our field trip destinations for Batch 32. We chose two of these destinations so that the students learn to appreciate their homeland of Indonesia. The palace was used as a central point for governance in Cipanas during the Dutch Colonial period and its design reflects European architecture during that time.
During more than 2 hours, we explored Presidential Palace with the help of 2 tour guides. They introduced a number of interesting places such as a room where all the paintings pointed towards one direction, a meeting room for the president and the ministers, and the hot springs used for bathing. We then continued our journey to the Kebun Raya Cibodas.
