The students of Advanced program are starting their research activities this month. They are very excited as this is their first time to conduct the field research. Each student is assigned to pick one of the main research-focus such as planting spacing, pests and diseases, planting productivity, and fertilizer. They then began the research activity with cultivating their beds, plotting the research area with numbers, and updating weekly progress. Several vegetables which planted including chili, tomato, melon, rice, eggplants etc. In this round of batch, we encourage the student to also conduct planting with different system such as Wick System, Dutch bucket and hydroponics system. They are expected to complete the research and presenting the result by December.
